Pigeons didn`t have bird-flu
Kazan, November 21, 2005 - The Regional Veterinarian Laboratory of the city Kazan got conclusions of the case connected with death of four pigeons.
In the document it is said that death of the birds hasn?t been caused by the bird-flu, but by low-quality forage.
The birds are supposed to have eaten at the local dumps, where they probably have eaten household rubbish.
As a reminder, two corpses of pigeons were found in one of the Kazan streets in the beginning of November, two other bodies were discovered one week ago. This case upset Kazan citizens, there was supposition that birds had died due to the bird-flu.
Specialists made researches and sent finds for examination in the Regional Veterinarian Laboratory.
